out of the tangle

It happens pretty frequently that I click on an unknown band's Myspace link and listen to the EP-length selection of songs that are there. I usually do work on another tab, and rarely replay the songs after they run out. But I just stumbled on Seattle band Katherine Hepburn's Voice through some tangle of web, and a little song called "Brain Power" has me smitten with its unassuming sweetness and creaky soft harmonies. I don't have a Myspace account (lord-- you have to draw the social software line somewhere, right?) but I'll have to figure out how to get some of their music into my hands.

P.S. I haven't looked in the print version yet to see if there's something there, as well, but was excited to see this mention in Seattle Magazine.
