this is so beautiful. i love when you can feel a painting.
it makes sense that the two comments here are written by pledged book lovers! there's a totally nostalgic and real sense of a young reader in this painting. not sure that was what the painter was after, but that's what i get. a wistfulness, and a wide range of emotion...
